My UFC 94 Picks

As im sitting here and getting ready to write my Official UFC 94 Picks for tonights live UFC event I cant help but wonder if someone will write in and tell me how dumb I am, or how stupid my picks for tonights fights are. Of course this only makes me more excited to post my UFC 94 Picks and of course I will be posting the UFC 94 Results Live again. I recently posted Live UFC Results during UFC 93 and it had some quality views (thank you everyone) so I figured I would do it again, plus I have a few people that text me to ask me what my picks are which allows me to send them here.

Tonight’s UFC 94 features BJ Penn vs George St. Pierre with George being favored to win the fight (based on fight odds) and well, my personal opinion also. I think when it comes down to it, BJ Penn is a great fighter especially when he sticks to his training and has focus…. I just think George St. Pierre at this point in his MMA Career is at a level far above just above every fighter out there right now. Now before anyone writes or comments about how stupid I am, Im not a George St. Pierre fan and im the same guy that picked Matt Serra to beat St. Pierre in the first fight, I made that choice because I saw an opportunity for Serra to win and he did and at this point I don’t see that some opportunity in place for BJ Penn. Pierre is too focused, too fast and in incredible physical condition. Again Pierre wins and I think he wins before the third round.

There are a couple of other good fights on the UFC 94 card and one of them might turn out to be the fight of the night, and that is Thiago Silva vs Lyota Machida, Machida is a heavy favorite and he will also be my choice for the night all though for betting purposes I would probably take Thiago in this fight since Machida is giving up -265 pts. which I think is a bit much to be favoring Machida by, especially with Thiago’s ability to hit like a mack truck. How can anyone forget the Clay Guida vs Nate Diaz fight, this is going to be a bad ass fight and could possibley end up being the fight of the night if Thiago and Machida let everyone down. Nate Diaz is favored over Clay Guida which might make this one very attractive with Diaz giving up -135 it leaves you with Guida the underdog with a +105 not a bad payout and Guida def. has the tools in the shed to beat Diaz. The Diaz boys are a good time and often have some solid fight in them, Guida iks a wildman and I have not seen Nate fight as unorthodox of a fighter as Diaz which has me leaning towards Clay Guida in this fight.

Another decent fight on the card is Many Gamburyan vs Thiago Tavares, I will be pulling for Manny in this one all though Im not too sure it will go that way. Other bouts include Stephan Bonners return to action in the UFC as well as Karo Parisyan and Jon Fitch is back but who knows if he will be on the PPV card or not. Many are considering this one of the best MMA Fight cards of all time, I am not one of those people. I think it’s a decent fight card and it will certainly have some great MMA action and you bet your ass I will be planted watching and posting Live UFC 94 Results as they happen.
