It’s not very often that I jump on to the Extreme John blog at 11pm on a Tuesday night to write a post about a promotion at Extreme Tan and Smoothies or at least within the company. Actually, I should probably do it more often. Well chances are that with some of the changes going on around Extreme lately I might very well have the chance to announce every future Extreme Tan and Smoothies promotion right here, on my blog. BTW, That would be bad ass.
I guess we can count this as a first for the EJ blog, hopefully the first of many.
I like being involved in every aspect of the game, every aspect. I take the pain with great pride and welcome it to make me stronger as I set the example for others that will hopefully grow into their own super power, I give the good like a proud parent. I enjoy handing out challenges and seeing success unfold with the opportunities given, I can’t imagine not being involved in every step. At this stage some of those thins can equate to disaster, a wise guy once said, “Ya know, you can’t do everything forever.” I never realized I tried to do everything, and certainly had no intention of doing it forever, especially since I enjoy watching others succeed as much as I do.
Today I want to announce one of the most substantial changes and most exciting changes in the history of Extreme Tan and Smoothies, Inc.
I would like this to serve as the original announcement of the official promotion of Mike Crimmins to Vice President of Operations (VPO) for Extreme Tan and Smoothies, Inc.
Mike Crimmins has been part of the Extreme family in many “behind the scenes” positions. There’s a good chance that at some point (assuming you are an Extreme tanner) that you have come across one of Mike’s articles, processes, forms and social media ideas. Mike Crimmins has played a substantial part in every position that he’s worked in throughout the Extreme family of business’s, regardless of which of our small business’s Mike was asked to assist in.
I am confident that Mike will work diligently to ensure the same ridiculously high customer service standards that we have preached for years. In addition to incredible customer service standards Mike brings the future to the table with fresh ideas in areas that I feel fresh ideas are a must like social media, social networking and most importantly good neighbor concepts. I haven’t spent a tremendous amount of time discussing “good neighbor concepts” here on my blog or even the Extreme Tan and Smoothies indoor tanning blog for that matter. Good Neighbor Concepts are things that our family (because we are family owned and operated) would like to do to give back to the community and our small business neighbors.
Now that Mike will be taking over much of my day-to-day responsibilities it will open up my time to focus on expanding the new Extreme Tan and Smoothies indoor tanning lotion and sunless spray tanning product line as well as the future affiliate program that I intend to release. I won’t be hijacking anymore of Mike’s promotion announcement with chatter about my plans and what I will be working on, you can subscribe to my rss feed or connect with me via my Facebook fan page for updates.
