NFL Week 13 Predictions

NFL Week 13 Predictions

I will be posting my NFL Week 13 predictions in two different ways just like I did with my NFL Week 11 Predictions, the first set of predictions are straight predictions that I use for pick’em football pools. The last set of NFL Predictions are based on point spreads, I use point spreads from Covers.com which are based on Las Vegas betting odds and includes odds posted on other popular football betting websites.

My good friend Jenn over at Stiletto Sports almost motivated me to make this post much much longer by including my thoughts on a few of the specific games. Jenn manages to find the self motivation to post her thoughts on what she feels are “key matchups” for the current week in football, I almost gave it a shot…. almost. Hats off to Jenn, I don’t have the motivation to do it tonight.

I see that you are still sticking with the Jets. I hope you are right. It’s good they beat Caroline; maybe they can turn the season around with some momentum. Sanchez is looking pretty good for a rookie, though. (The few times I have watched)

I like that you don’t let the point spread influence your picks.

@Keith@Norman Rockwell Art, I would love to see them stomp the Bills, especially with New England getting dismantled by New Orleans last night and the Dolphins losing on Sunday.

I’m excited that there’s a small chance that the bears might win this week.

@Extreme John,

Give Chi-town a bit more credit. They lost a lot of close games this year. Without Urlacher is no excuse. They honestly don’t need him anymore. What they need is a secondary and an offensive line.

Upset special of the week BUCS & CHIEFS !!
I am using your picks again this week.
I’ll throw you a Pet Safari gift card if I hit.
Make this Sunday a Super Safari Sunday for the Bucs.

Like the picks but gotta disagree with the Ravens.. Packers are playing good football and I think the defence can hold Baltimore to few points

Hey, nice segment and nice site. I will have to say though, where are you
getting your spreads? Your lines are way, way, off. Not in order of picks,
but by home team, the numbers should be Bears (-9), Jags (Pk), Panthers
(-6.5), Chiefs (+4.5), Colts (-7), Falcons (+4.5), Dolphins (+5), Redskins
(+9.5), Steelers (off), Bengals (-13), Browns (+13), Giants (+1.5), Seahawks
(Pk), Cardinals (off) and Packers (-3.5).

Best of luck.

Wow Pitt over Oakland and giving 14 points. It better be 17 to 3 then cause Pitt just can’t seem to get anything together. Sounds like a trap game.

@SafariDave,

Looks like it def was! Gradkowski played like a veteran out there. He wasn’t even excited after the last second score. I was impressed with him.

I love the Packers tonight. Right now it looks like a majority of the money is coming in on the Ravens. In the three main instances where that occurred on Sunday – on the Titans, on the Texans, on the Patriots – all of the “public” teams didn’t cover. My No. 1 pick to my clients is on the total but I definitely have a play on the Packers as well.
