NFL Week 6 Predictions

by Extreme John on October 15, 2009 |

As many of you know I try to get my NFL Predictions out earlier in the week, I have been busy getting all the new lotions into the salons over the last few days and never got around to getting my NFL Week 6 Predictions posted.

I will be posting my NFL Week 6 predictions in two different ways just like I did with my NFL Week 5 Predictions, the first set of predictions are straight predictions that I use for pick’em football pools. The last set of NFL Predictions are based on point spreads, I use point spreads from Covers.com which are based on Las Vegas betting odds and includes odds posted on other popular football betting websites.

You should keep a running total of how well you’re doing too and post it with your predictions each week. Personally, I’m just over 60%… tough year!

@Chris Fyvie, I keep telling myself Im going to do that and just can’t seem to find the time to get it put together each week.

Hopefully this coming week.

I was really looking forward to saying you’ve lost your mind on some pick, but I can’t really disagree with any of them.

@Doug Dillard, I had a feeling we were going to have a difference of opinion on the Denver v San Diego game, but I can’t blame you for going with your home team.

I love Colorado so picking Denver is like a second home to me, not to mention they are on fiyah!

@Tycoon Blogger, I am very much looking forward to that game. I like watching the Eagles win big, and watching the defense especially recover from that beating they took from the Saints.

Can’t wait to see Oakland get crushed.

That Giants/Saints game is going to be very telling, I have a feeling. Overall, the Giants have very good depth at any given position. The Saints are very well-coached, and have awesome talent at offense, but I think the Giants might be that much better.

Right now, Football Outsiders has the Saints as the best team in the league – their defense is vastly improved, and their offense is clicking. But I’m not too sure: I think they do lack personnel still.

@ashok, I would have to agree with you I don’t think that the Saints are the best team in the NFL either.

I think the Giants might have the depth edge in that game as well, I can’t wait to see that game.
