NFL Week 7 Predictions

by Extreme John on October 20, 2009 |

As many of you know I try to get my NFL Predictions out earlier in the week, I have been busy getting all the new lotions into the salons over the last few days and never got around to getting my NFL Week 7 Predictions posted.

I will be posting my NFL Week 7 predictions in two different ways just like I did with my NFL Week 6 Predictions, the first set of predictions are straight predictions that I use for pick’em football pools. The last set of NFL Predictions are based on point spreads, I use point spreads from Covers.com which are based on Las Vegas betting odds and includes odds posted on other popular football betting websites.

I’m not in mood to predict. That Eagles loss to Oakland had me going “hey, do I get 2 hours of my life back? Like, some compensation for this nonsense?”

How does one lose to Oakland 9 to 13? I mean, they couldn’t even throw the ball downfield that game: the defense only has to play half the field. And don’t get me started on the offense…

I might also have to admit that the Saints are for real, but that’s not hard to admit now. They are playing at a spectacular level consistently.

@ashok, that was beyond shocking, I couldn’t believe how few points the Eagles were able to score.

I have the Cowboys down as a win, I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

The Vikings over the Steelers is going to be this week’s best game. Let’s see if Farve can work his magic.

I see you are sticking with the Jets. They were doing so good at one point, 3-0 winning 5 in a row counting preseason. I thought maybe this season would be good. It may still work out, but that last game was such a heartbreaker.

@Keith@Norman Rockwell Art, the Jets pick will always be a pick based on heart as opposed to who I think will actually win.

I do think the Jets should win this week though, they need to get their shit together before it’s a wasted season.

Hey!

First time visitor here and I just wanted to say that I like the layout here. Enjoyed the read and look forward to more. I too run a football site and enjoy seeing what others have to say. I think that this is the week that Favre and the Vikings finally lose. The Steelers are awfully tough at home. I also think that the Panthers continue their rise with that powerful running game. Should be a fun week seven!

@Rodney Southern, I will have to stop by your site and check it out, thank you for commenting I appreciate it!

As for the Panthers I agree I can see them continuing with some decent forward progress this week.

I think the Vikings are going to be the shocker this week, we know it won’t be Tampa Bay beating the Patriots all though when the final lines come out taking the underdog spot and the points.

@The Constant Complainer, without a doubt I will be tuned into that game. Wouldn’t mind a little snow on the field if you know what I mean.
