I hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend it was great having 4th of July on a Friday this year, it was as if I was on vacation for the week leading up to the 4th of July. Previous years I have spent every 4th of July getting drunk at Shepards Clearwater Beach than heading into The Wave also located in Shepards on Clearwater Beach, this year was a little different. It wouldn’t be standing in the blazing sun for 10 hours, it wouldn’t be a lot of things.
For some reason out of all the things that I would not be doing by not going to Shepards on Clearwater Beach, none of those things really mattered to me, no waiting to use the bathroom, no missed communication between Security and the front door or the parking lot or whatever else. There was a time when none of those things were a problem, thats back during a time when No Shepards Clearwater Beach would have meant misssing out on a shit load of fun and good times, especially with my boy DJ Ray.
In all I am very happy we didn’t go to Shepards and I continue to not miss it, I do continue to look back and remember the good times there at a time when things were done in a way that treated the customer with respect, As for now that time is gone or at least it is for me, there seems to be a few people there that just will never remove the stick from their ass over silly shit. I had a great 4th of July and saved a shitload of money and most importantly aggrivation. I wish you all a Happy 4th of July and hope you have a Safe one.
