Office Depot Rewards is Sweet for Small Business

I’m not really big on “Rewards” programs and things of that nature. When I think of rewards I think of the killer rewards points I use to get from the casinos in Las Vegas for spending a little too much time at the Craps tables, well that and a scam. I can probably name at least ten different types of rewards programs that I’ve tried and found useless over the years as a business owner, sorry most of the rewards structures out there are crap.

I guess my prayers for a decent rewards program have finally been answered.

Office Depot Rewards Dollars

Office Depot Rewards

I can’t really tell you how much we spent in order to receive over $200 in free gift cards from the Office Depot rewards program, what I can tell you is that they sure do come in handy. Unlike sooooo many other rewards and point systems out there, I actually get to see a return on our purchases and it comes in the simple form of no haggle, no hassle gift cards.

Big props to Office Depot.

I would suggest getting your small business involved in the Office Depot rewards program, it’s free and they don’t require anything silly or out of hand from you either. We simply give them the phone number to our account each time we shop at Office Depot, that’s it. Give it a shot and let me know if you start receiving any decent rewards.

Do you have an idea you cane share that will help other small business owners take advantage of rewards programs or point systems? Leave a comment, I know I would love the inside scoop and I’m sure others would too.

We’ve had the same dilemma John, some rewards programs are just plain hassle! Good to know there is still one that’s useful!

I thought for sure these things were always a lost cause.

Very cool. I don’t have any experience with rewards programs, but I’d have thought they all would have been as simple to use as this. Guess that shows my ignorance!

Oh, and I recently acquired KeywordLuv.com and featured your blog as one of the “legit, not spammy” blogs! There will be a lot more on the site in the future, but for now there are just a few links to the good KeywordLuv-enabled blogs I read.

Probably right Louise, none of this stuff existed when I was a kid. Too much money to pass up on.

Wow, I guess every store is offering rewards. Sounds better than 10 cents off gas at the grocery store.

Sounds too good to be true! Most rewards are just plain hassle and only lead you to spend more money ;)
