Out in the Pink Hummer

I have written a couple of times that on November 14, 2008 we took the Insane Limos Barbie Pink Hummer Limo out for a little tour to see what people thought of it. We covered some solid ground putting it on display at The Courtside Grill in Feather Sound Florida, The Slug and Mr. Bigg in Tampa Florida and the Oak Room in West Chase. Not really sure what I was trying to accomplish here

Courtside Grill in Feather Sound is always a good place to go for the Yuppie type crowd and it gets pretty packed on Fridays as the Office buildings behind it let out. the service isn’t usually all that great but the food and drink are exellent and the place is setup great in my opinion. After leaving Courtside Grill we parked the Pink H2 Limo at the Shell in Feather Sound so we could get some more Ice and Beer before making the trip out to Tampa for The Slug.

We headed out to the Slug in the Insane Limos Pink Hummer, The Slug is always a cool place and the owners are good people. There’s an idiot or two that I could have done without seeing while I was there but I did run into one of the Extreme Tan and Smoothies tanners as well as Big Mike a good friend of mine as well. One of the more exiting things was this one place in the same strip center as The Slug called Mr. Bigg, Drew stopped in there to grab some happy food and after I got tired of waiting for him I went into Mr. Bigg to see what was up. Mr. Bigg was as empty as could be, there was Drew, a Server a DJ and one of the guys from 13 Ugly Men Charity Group and thats it. What really blew me away was how bad ass the decor and setup of Mr. Bigg was and I was really blown away that the place was empty. The DJ was playing good music and Im telling you the place was spotless with an excellent setup, shit they had TV’s right in front of the Urinals in the Mens room… thats the type of shit I would do and always said I would do if I opened a Bar and Grill. I will be going back to Mr. Bigg’s sometime soon and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pretty kick ass place to hang out where you can actually have a conversation and still hear good music.

Before we called it a night we took a recomendation from someone to check out The Oak Room in West Chase, another Yuppie type place with a ton of money in the area. The Oak Room was super nice and had an excellent flow from Indoor to the Outdoor area by the front entrance where there were Tables, Torches and overall some nice Decor. I will need another trip back to the Oak Room to really give it a fair review since it was much later in the night and we had been going for a while, let’s just say I don’t remember the specific details of the Oak Room as much as I do the preious stops of the night.
