Watch OUT Brother! We started to run a full page ad in their Yellow Pages, then cancelled it. They ran it anyway, I refused to pay, they sued me, I lost, and then they got a garnishment writ, and went and took all my money! They were supposed to serve me before they got a writ of garnishment, they lied, said they did! They literally wiped me out. Yellow Book are a shady operation in my experiences with them, and they do not deliver results, only past due invoices they will claim you owe, though you cancelled. We started to run a full page ad in their Yellow Pages, then cancelled it. They ran it anyway, I refused to pay, they sued me, I lost, and then they got a garnishment writ, and went and took all my money!
They were supposed to serve me before they got a writ of garnishment, they lied, said they did!

And, nothing nada, zilch. He might as well have smoked that 3K. The phone companies and their phone book subsidiaries / partners, or whatever they are, really take advantage of people. They get away with it because they are big giant corporation that many people trust. Use their free service for the citation and then forget about them. Arrrggghhh......Done OK maybe not. I opted out of DEX in 2008 because of cost/economy but what a mistake that was! Atleast I was recieving calls from that 255.00 per month investment and it paid for itsself. With Yellowbook I have not gotten one single call in a full year now and I find that the money spent was, and still is a complete waste of my money. I would be better off flushing it down the toilet, that way atleast the loss is my own doing. The Yellowbook rep roped me in with promises of atleast 2 - 3 calls per week... What a complete and utter lie that was! How about NO CALLS PER WEEK FOR A FULL YEAR! My business can hardly be blamed since I'm diverse, offer service plus backflow license and testing.. This is a high turnover profession. So now its been a matter of contacting my local Yellowbook rep (which I've done atleast 4 times now) and trying to get a final billing for my full payment so I dont have to see this wasted flushed money each and every month, and all I get is requests to meet at Starbucks for more sales pitches and deals, phonecalls and emails but no bill. Its been over a month now that I have requested this final bill and still getting nothing but excusesand BS from these jerks. Excuses that seemingly place the blame back onto me for not entertaining their request for further meetings with their over zealous rep.. RIGHT! I'm sick of it and my attorney will now get involved to keep these basterds from trying to charge me late fee's for a billing which I requested over a month ago. Good to see I'm not alone.
