They charged me for unauthorized usage claiming that my service was dc due to a late payment. My service was never interrupted and I paid my bill. They claimed that someone tampered with the meter an that's why they had to come out and dc my service again and put a lock on the box. Their customer service reps are downright rude and not helpful at all. They treated me like some kind of thief stealing their service when I had no clue. My service was dc and I had to pay a whopping $600 to reconnect my service. I have 3 young children in my house so I had no choice but to pay. Progress energy fucking sucks. With the bill like yours, it is indeed a hell. Your income will just go mainly to electric bill and that's not fair. The government should also protect the consumers and pass a law that will hinder private companies to increase rates all the time. Now I plan on doing a full review of Echo which means I have to hang in there a minute, if I do decide to keep it I will write a detailed "How to use JS-Kit Echo", but I honestly would rather have everyone's natural and unbiased opinion about it once I do have it completely in place.
