Wow…And it just doesn’t stop!

I actually just watched his show a few days ago. Even though it sucked and I couldn’t stand him, still very sad. The man had talent without a doubt.

Now go buy some mighty putty

I liked Billy Mays, I liked the way hey pitched the products that he pitched and I also had a tremendous amount of respect for how Billy Mays chose the products he chose to pitch.

When Billy Mays sold something, regardless of how annoying some people might have found him to be he SOLD IT. Think of Billy Mays and think back to how many products you have heard him pitch, than think of how many times you heard those commercials or infomercials? He was a legendary pitchmen, I can assure you the moron that wears the headset for the sham wow (Vince) will never be hired to push as many products as Mays has, nor will his pitch be as well respected as Billy Mays.

He was a Legend at what he did in the same right that Farrah Fawcett was the hottest angel and Michael Jackson had the most pop, Billy Mays had the best pitch.

He lived right over here in Dunedin, Florida.

It seems that June is a bad month for the entertainment industry, which is a real shame, it wasn’t until I read your post that I realised who he was..

@Karen I can understand that being the case, Im sure a lot of people don’t tie the Billy Mays name with the Billy Mays Infomercial King.

I really think it’s a shame that Billy Mays went when he did, he was just getting into that next level of status. Especially with the reality show “Pitchmen” that he had going on.

I am also very curious to see what the cause of Billy Mays death was, which we won’t know until the autopsy is done on Billy Mays. I am curious if it will tie into the rough landing the he was a passenger in during the US airways flight landing at the Tampa International Airport yesterday. I am curious if he sustained an injury or something along those lines that maybe went undetected.

It’s so sad that he has died. He is so young and from his info commercials was so vibrant and full of life. I bet he suffered internal brain injuries from the incident experienced on flight he took. R.I.P Billy.

I really wasn’t a big fan of him until I started watching his show. I always thought he was an annoying infomercial guy until I saw what goes into their infomercials, how they pick their products and how he had a great business mind.

Billy Mays was a fantastic pitchman. If you didn’t want to buy the product before the infomercial, you were sure sold on it after. That’s why its is always best to turn the TV off. He was very annoying, but that is how he got and maintained your attention. He will be missed.
