R.I.P Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett

by Extreme John on June 25, 2009 |

I just wanted to take a quick break from the daily grind to post the very sad news that we have lost two iconic celebrities in the same day, this comes only a few days from the death of the Tonight Show legend Ed Mcmahon.

Earlier today former the new broke quickly on Twitter that Farrah Fawcett had lost her long battle with cancer. At this point many people start to think, “Oh boy they always come in three’s, who’s next?” It sounds a little disturbing but it’s reality, people say it every time a celebrity passes away.

Just a short while ago TMZ broke the news that Michael Jackson was en route to the Emergency room, suffering from an apparent heart attack. Less than an hour later, at 5:20pm TMZ posted the news that Michael Jackson has died at the age of 50, making him the third celebrity to die in less than a week.

As time goes on and I get older it seems that more and more of the celebrity, music and TV personalities that I enjoyed have started to pass. Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett and Micheal Jackson will be remembered for their amazing talents and perhaps some of their misfortunes along the way. Regardlesstoday is a sad day in the entertainment world, R.I.P.

Oh yeah, if you thought it was mayhem when Anna Nicole Smith died, wait until you see the pandimonium and shock waves of Michael Jacksons death.

@Michelle My pleasure, it was the least I could post especially when watching some of the Live Michael Jackson news coverage and while we wait for the autopsy to come back and certain outlets choose to bash Michael even in death. Need to to display some of the great things he shared with the world through out his amazing 45 year career. Thank you for commenting.

i suspect that, since there’s more celebrities than ever right now, it’s going to seem like a lot are passing on around the same time; RIP in any case
