Sunday was our scheduled day to leave Orlando and head back home, since everyone woke up pretty early, even after we were all up pretty late having some Beers and bullshitting we decided to head to Friendly’s for lunch (one of my favorite old school places from New York). It was still pretty early so we had some time to go ahead and check out some stuff in Orlando before we left to head home.

We had past by the Ripley’s Believe it or Not! building in Orlando numerous times before and always said we wanted to check it out one day, it’s right down the street from Friendly’s and the Condo we stayed in so the timing was perfect. We all headed into Ripley’s to see what the building that looks like it collapsed into the ground on one side could have to offer.

Overall Ripley’s Believe it or Not! is a pretty cool place, it’s not a place I would go to again but it was cool for the first time, especially if you like seeing some really strange stuff, this guy collected it all. Sean took about 100 pictures from Ripley’s in Orlando that you can see in the full gallery in the 2008 Pictures section, here are a few more pictures of Ripley’s.

A Siamese Pig, just one of the many odd things you will see at Ripley’s Believe it or Not! in Orlando, Florida.

Great place to go. We went to the one in Myrtle Beach (one time only also) when the kids were young. Lots of cool and unique things to see.

Great looking family and pictures, John.

Is anyone else going to be in the area the first week of February 2010?

Ripley’s is one of the best places to go in Orlando. The funniest moment I remember is the mirror at the beginning. Do you all remember making faces?? Then you realize at the end of the “maze” who gets the last laugh

@mike, oh yeah wow that was hysterical, we stood there for a while laughing at people. I didn’t fall for it which of course gave me extra bragging rights.

I admit, I fell for it. My I didn’t make funny faces. I let the kids do that!

I feel like I want to go to Orlando too. I’m amazed with the building design of Ripley’s. It’s so great and very unique. It really catches the attention of whoever might passes along the road.
