Every once and a while I like to take a break from the everyday crap I write about on here like business tips, blogging tips and rants, today (or at least this post) is one of those days. This is a post that I honestly should have written months ago if not over a year ago, any of you that might be a blogging CEO know how easily some things can just slip away.
When it comes to anything computer related we call Steve Ritt of Ritt Technologies, LLC. and have done so for a few years now, and for very good reason. Many of you now that we own and operate six indoor tanning salons around Tampa Bay, much like every other business we use POS software to track sales, inventory and all of that exciting stuff that you don’t want to hear about.
Steve Ritt, the owner of Ritt Technologies LLC. has been providing beyond excellent service for Extreme Tan and Smoothies, Inc. in addition to our limousine business Insane Limos, Inc. However Steve’s abilities don’t stop there as he is the very person that introduced me to the world of MacBook Pro laptop computers and I haven’t looked back since, Steve has also helped me with our Apple TV and the Apple TV’s that we use in our limos.
We started working with Steve on a regular basis because he provided high quality service at a personal level that large computer repair companies or networking consultant firms simply can’t provide. I can’t even begin to count the number of times that Steve has been out to one of our tanning salons just before we close at midnight to resolve a problem or even how many last minute calls that Steve takes from us, he is one of a kind.
I know that Steve reads the Extreme John blog from time to time and want to personally say, “Thank you again Steve, you are truly one of a kind and an expert in your field.”

Ooooh Great post John! Steve (and his crew) are miracle workers! But beyond that they are professional, timely, hard working…..and nice, friendly and do whatever it takes to fix the problem! Highly recommend him!

That’s what its all about, support local small businesses that provide a great, personal service. I hate dealing with monster corporations who put you on hold for 30 mins before some minimum-wage moron tells you she can do nothing for you. I’d rather pay more if I had to for service from a caring and reliable small business. I love hearing from customers who are thankful knowing that we give them hope that not every business out there is greedy and heartless and there are people out there who go the distance to make sure things are done right. Mr. Ritt, I don’t know you but I wanna thank you for being such a great example.

Haha sorry, when I think of the worst telephone customer service it goes to DirectTV every time.
It’s nice to come across good hard working intelligent people with a passion for what they are doing, someone that wants to get it right every time. Even in small business it can be tough these days to find that personal attention your looking for.
