About a week ago I wrote a post titled, “Introducing Safe Tan Sam” the official new safe tanning advocate mascot for Extreme Tan and Smoothies. When I wrote that post I only had the original first version cartoon from our cartoon artist, today I have an update and it’s the colored cartoon with a few of the changes we requested. A lot of the changes that you see between the original Safe Tan Sam version and the latest version of Safe Tan Sam were changes that our kids wanted to make to Sam, right down to the smoothie cup in Sam’s left hand.
It’s important to note that we sent this version of Safe Tan Sam back for a few more changes and fine tuning adjustments before it goes off to the custom mascot company that we will be using for the custom mascot character design.

As can be expected with any project there are going to be changes, this is a much easier project than most of the other projects I deal with in our small business because the kids are giving their input as to what should go on with Safe Tan Sam. Here’s a list of just a few of the changes and requests that my daughter, son and niece submitted after we received the first version.
Safe Tan Sam Design Changes
1) Make the duck around the waste a banana tube yellow color and the duck bill primary orange.
2) Sunglasses red
3) Shoes primary blue
4) Umbrella make each strip a different color, make one of the strips include SafTanSam .com
5) Put the Extreme tan and Smoothies logo on the sunblock and smoothie cup.
6) Put a white tank top on Sam.
7) Hat blue
SPF 150 should appear on the sunblock also.

I’m on vacation this week but I found time to check out Extreme John even though KeepCarl is on Vacation.
I like the changes that you made.
I have one suggestion though #6.
I don’t know how many guys that wear wife beater tees that are worried about safe tanning, maybe this was thought out but I think he could be wearing something better. Possibly a Pet Safari T-shirt, Car Tunes t-shirt or maybe an Insane limo shirt.
Can’t wait to see him in full color.

It sounds cool! But I still don’t have an idea what the Tan Sam Cartoon looks like. With all the description below, I suggest to put some picture so that in the next changes we can compare the older version from the newer version.

I do not have any picture in mind yet about Tan Sam Cartoon. I hope you have images of it so that I can see for myself and other people here. I sure think it’s interesting.
