I have to start of by thanking my cousin Matt for posting this video on my Facebook wall, I need to share it over on my Facebook fan page wall too. I’m not really sure of the story behind the video except that it leads me to believe that someone from Nassau County might have written a song or something about how Nassau County is better then Suffolk County.
For those of you that do not subscribe to my rss feed or connect with me via @extremejohn on Twitter, I grew up in Suffolk County. Suffolk County is on Long Island and away from the craziness of busy New York City and it certainly features incredible property over Nassau which has tiny to no backyards, something that is mentioned in the song.
I don’t really care so much about the little background feud or whatever is the point behind the song. Instead I wanted to share the video here because it’s a pretty bad ass shout for Suffolk County and it shows off oh sooooooo many of the places I frequented when I lived in New York.

Watching the video makes me wanna jump on a plane and visit New York, specifically Suffolk County. Hit up Uncle Richie, Antnee and a few others to name a few. Sounds good but no vacations anytime soon here, I’m keeping it to the grind.

Hey- thanks for the props- the stoy is on- Nassau did a song 1st and dissed Suffolk -saying it is for the Working Class.

Being w Friendly’s Restaurants forever I remember a lot of the “feuding” going on between Suffolk/Nassau – being a “bi-county” manager it was tough!!!

Since they are both rap (not music) they both suck. I saw the Suffolk guys live on Friday night. They were horrible. The sound was horrible and even though the girl has a good voice, you couldn’t hear her. So sad…

Yep we miss Suffolk County as well. We own a business there, but haven’t been back in probably 3 years. This reminded me of quite a few things actually.
