Blog Engage is a WordPress Plugin that bloggers use as a blog directory, it’s a pretty sweet deal when it comes to getting some free Do Follow traffic while building a network with the other bloggers that use Blog Engage. If you check out my Google custom search box and type “Blog Engage” in the search field I think you will find more than enough information about Blog Engage, however it seems that there is one key point that I haven’t driven home yet.
So what’s this big call to action all about anyway? Well, let me tell you.
It’s all about the biggest mistake that Blog Engage WordPress plugin users make, and how easy it is going to be for you to solve the problem in the event you currently use the Blog Engage plugin or consider using it in the future. You should use it btw…. think about it… free Do Follow backlinks to your articles. Pretty much a no brainer.
I dragged this out long enough. This might be one single tip but I will tell you it is probably one of the most important factors in increasing your Blog Engage votes.
Rule #1 SUBMIT YOUR POST to Blog Engage as soon as you publish it.
I should probably slap together a list of 5 reasons or maybe a list of 16 reasons that you should submit your posts to Blog Engage as soon as your post is published, but hey there’s a post idea for ya ;) Anyway, submitting your post to Blog Engage ensures that your post is placed in the right category and certainly makes it much easier for bloggers to hit that Blog Engage button. … Now hit that bitch real quick………… Thank you.
P.s. Just for the record I want to thank all of you that are nice enough to submit my posts for me, I am terrible at submitting my posts when they come out which certainly can lose votes. Problem is with multiple updates on any given day and constantly being on the move it’s tough to get it done, just wanted to say thank you.

@Hesham @ FamousBloggers, seems as if a lot of bloggers in this community use Blog Engage…. Still waiting on a check from Brian, haha.
It makes a big difference in votes that’s for sure.
Good one, John :-)

Besides the value you add to your readers and the Blogengage community, you are quite the entertainer.

I get my new posts up on BlogEngage as quick as I can, if I’ve just posted it then I’ll do it there and then, but if it’s a scheduled post then I’ll do as soon as I visit the post
Also I think having a graphic is important for your BlogEngage entry.

Now this is for my all time reminder — submit as soon as the post is published. I have several times neglected the power of being ‘fast’ but to log on to Blogengage 2 or 3 days later. Time to rearrange my priority list, if we hope to step up in the game, try to be an early bird. We’re talking about FREE DOFOLLOW traffic here!
Again, my gratitude to Brian for setup the site in the first place.

The same rule applies to Twittley if you use that plug-in, you should always be the first one to submit your own posts to twittley, so you can categorize and tag your article in Twittley.

I wish Brian would make a bit easier to publish post though. I usually have to login twice before it works and sometime when I vote on post it doesn’t take.
