The Definition of work

It feels like I can make 1400 blog posts about work and having a job and the responsibility that comes along with it and people still won’t ever get it. I understand that you come accross people in the work place that regarless of how many chances or how much training and trust you give them, they will just turn around and either be useless or even steal from the same company that is putting food on their table or helping pay bills, or better yet helped you out when you needed it and you know exactly what I mean.

I recently had the chance of watching one of these useless additions to the work place do their thing, which in reality was of course nothing. You have to remember the lazy one’s or the one’s that steal or in this case the one’s that do both of things things, don’t really put on much of a show to watch, it’s usually uneventful and full of useless bullshit. This scenario was no different, I watched by the side as this person pissed off co workers with their lazy lack of leadership ability and watched as they honestly got away with murder. I am a pretty good judge of character and pretty much two weeks into watching this specific person I knew that the end would not turn out good. I mean let’s face it some people are just so fucking lazy that all they want to do is park their ass on a seat all day and surf My Space, thn in the end game they sit around scratching their head and wondering why they are constantly getting into some kind of trouble in regards to work, best part of all the useless shit head assumes they should be paid for it, or even in most cases feel they deserve a raise for something.

I will attempt one last time (ok maybe not because it’s fun and relieves tension) to address the issue. You see folks if you APPLY for a job and get that job, and you accept the pay for that job the business relationship at that point is that you will get paid on whatever basis to do your job. If you don’t do your job and you choose to sit around on your ass and continue to offer a dis-service to those same customers and fellow associates that you look at and talk to with your fake ass bullshit words and lies than you should expect that you will be terminated. Now in reality people get chances and companies use things like documentation and whatever else to try and address these issues in hopes that the associate on the receiving end will actually listen, learn and do what they were initially hired to do… THEIR JOB. In this particular case regardless of how many documentations or nice little talks or chances this person was given, and holy shit let me tell you this piece of work had a million chances it just seems that the lazy will be the lazy. It’s too bad that useless employee’s from previous business’s and jobs don’t have a tattoo on their forehead to warn you of their actions before you hire them, maybe the letter “U” for “Useless” would be fitting.

To the one that didn’t have enough self respect to stick up to their end of the job, I say good bye and I am happy to see you move on in your life, I hope that your release might clue you in to some of the many things that were trying to be communicated to you while you were here. We wish you the best and are VERY thankful to be able to get someone in place to do the task at hand and actually earn their pay instead of sitting around, doing nothing, misleading fellow employee’s, lieing, stealing time, giving out free shit when you had no right to and whatever else. We thank you for the learning experience and can only hope that you might start your own business and give someone else a chance to get whatever job you might be trying to sit and squat in, and just think if you do that than you can sit on your ass until your own business hits the floor instead of thriving to destroy someone else’s hard earned business.
