Ok it’s now time for “The Bad” from my 2008 Business Review of The Good, The Bad and The REAL Ugly, a couple of days ago I posted “The Good”. The list below consists of Business’s that for one reason or another in my opinion did not provide service to the level they should have in order to be listed as The Good. The Business’s listed below also provided a level of service which has them safe from The REAL Ugly listing which will be out in the next couple of days.
THE BAD
Dimmitt Cadillac – 800-787-9713
There will be a few of you that think I am simply bitching about this one and that’s fine. I have a real problem when I have purchased something for like $70,000 from someplace and you walk in and no one even aknowledge’s you. The service at Dimmitt in regards to the Sales Department, etc is honestly non existent. At one point this year I went there to look at a Bentley, walked through the entire showroom and outside total time about 20 minutes. No one person said a word to me, meanwhile they were bullshitting about some plane tickets and crap like that. In addition Dimmitt also hooked me up with a nice $3,000+ repair bill two days after my warranty expired. Bottom line, when it came to buying our 2008 Cadillac Escalade ESV for our Limousine conversion, we went with a Cadillac Dealership out of the state.. Sorry Dimmitt im done with ya.
Tempus Electronic Lifestyles – 1-866-4TEMPUS
A company that I thought for sure would end up on The Good list simply based on their longevity and recommendations. Tempus may actually be a great company, but we will never know since they never finished the Quote they were suppose to send over and John the Sales guy that I was working with doesn’t know how to answer phone calls. All in all I guess Tempus has so much business they don’t need anymore. No sweat I will take mine somewhere else.
Zuzana Designs
I have a full review on my experience with Zuzana Designs coming in the next couple of days, there’s no sense on posting it here also. Plain and simple, not worth it.
Advanced Cooling Systems – 727-738-6006
This is another company I would have liked see be able to stay in the “Good”, the one guy I met from this company was really knowledgable and extremely friendly. Only thing that wrecks Advanced Cooling Systems for me is that I have been waiting for an estimate for about 5 months for them to put this special cooling thing into our Theater Room, something they recomended but something I guess not important enough to follow up on. Just another A/C Company with poor follow up.
Lightscapes – 813-792-7778
There is nothing more frustrating than to see a company that actually has an excellent product get on the “Bad” list because of a lack of response when calling them for service. Sadly in 2008 each time I called them for Service on our Outdoor Landscape lighting which Lightscapes installed I have yet to ever get a phone call back. Looks like in 2009 we will be looking for a different company to use.
Freestyle Pools and Spas – 813-855-4040
Freestyle Pools and Spas actually does some really nice pools, so nice in fact that we wanted to have a few things added to the pool. I called up, setup and appointment and met with the guy from Freestyle Pools. At that time he gave me a round about of what everything would cost and I told him we would be good to go, he said it would be a while before they could get around to it and he would get me a quote the following week. It’s now been over a year and retire them the right way since I still have no Quote, god it must be nice to just ignore business and chances to increase profits.
I guess in closing I can mutter the same shit I seem to mutter all the time or I can write what I pretty much wrote above… It must be nice to have so much business that you don’t need any new business to the point you can just ignore calling customers, writing invoices for potential customers or following up. Than people stand around wondering ,”Why?” Is it really that hard to figure out Why?
