I am sure by now that I have made up for my two week break I recently took from making posts that involved Twitter. In other words I am pretty sure that most of you are getting sick of my posts about twitter or twitter giveaways or retweeting messages of mine on twitter. It’s ok let’s face it Twitter is still exploding with millions of new twitter users every month, it’s not going to go away any time soon regardless if you love it or hate it.
Not only am I constantly using Twitter on a daily basis for my personal blog, we are constantly working on developing our business twitter accounts for @insanelimos, @extremetanfl, @mmapunk and @rssbuilders. Our most recent efforts have involved giving away Free Limousine rides, Free Indoor Tanning and Free Spray Tanning. We really have not ventured into doing any specific twitter contests for @mmapunk and @rssbuilders as of yet, however I do have a weekly twitter giveaway on Extreme John every week, my first two contests were for $125 Visa Gift Cards and were “Caption This” contests. As a business owner I am constantly welcoming new ideas or coming up with ideas of my own that we implement when we feel strongly enough about it. Sometimes branding your business can become such a stressful task that every once and a while you need to have some fun with it. I decided we would have some twitter fun and give our contest winners some love in the meantime. I came up with the idea of having oversized sample checks made on a dry erase board so that we could have the contest winners take a picture with the check and post it as a thank you and congratulations. You can see by the pictures below that Nate our Vice President of Operations is having fun with his twitter contest check, Jamie takes a more conservative serious approach to posing with the Insane Limos contest winner check.
