It seems as if I have been on a big Twitter tool review kick, between my Twitter Safety article and my most recent Sunday Smash:Retweet Review, #FollowFriday, Blog Milestones article.
There seemed to be a really nice response to my Uber Twitter for Blackberry Review which is what prompted me to post my ReTweet.it Review and now this, my Twittley review.
I’m not sure exactly how or where I found Twittley as I was probably plowing through Twitter resource sites like the handful of Oreo’s that were sitting next to me. I’m really never in search of any specific type of Twitter tool, it seems I enjoy just reading and checking out the various Twitter resources that are out there. I probably should have a Twitter related blog as opposed to posting it all on here, but I have tried writing for multiple blogs like my Limousine owners blog and I just never can stretch my time out far enough to get things done there.
If you are a webmaster, blog owner, blog writer, social bookmarker or social networker chances are you have seen sites like Digg before. For those of you that are not familiar with Digg or other Social Networking and Bookmarking services, in short people can submit your articles for others to view by using Digg. The more people that Digg your article or the submitted article the higher the article gets listed on Digg, therefor increasing the chances for potential traffic.
Twittley is a service very similar to Digg, there are a few differences between Digg and Twittley for Twitter users that I like. One of the biggest challenges with Digg and receiving any real traffic from there is that your article needs to be Dugg a tremendous amount before it will see the front pages and see that traffic. Bottom line, I don’t have those kind of skills so I will never see any real traffic from my articles being submitted to Digg.
Now one of the added benefits of Twittley is that it’s still new which means that your chances of seeing a decent traffic return on your articles is probably greater. There really aren’t any other Social Bookmark sites for Twitter like Twittley, which captures the Digg concept and honestly exceeds it in my opinion.
About the Twittley Button
How can a new tool like Twittley capture the Digg concept AND exceed it? Well it’s all in the button folks, the Twittley button all though new puts Twittley on another level. The Twittley button allows users to Submit your article which will also ReTweet it, all while keeping the person nice enough to tweet your message on your site. Keep in mind that the first time your link is submitted to Twittley it will take the surfer from your page so that they can accept the submission.
The signup process for Twittley is effortless, use your existing Twitter login information and your good to go. Twittley has numerous categories to submit your article to with a simple tab based navigation system, Twittley also reads your Twiter Karma and has a seperate Twittley Karma rating which can be increased by being active on Twittley.
As you can see by my Twittley Button screen cap above I have decided to place a flashing image just to the right of my Twitter button to make it stand out more, in hopes that some of you will Tweet this article up people!! In all seriousness Twittley is pretty simple to use, has increased traffic to my site in the short period of time I have been using it and I enjoy reading articles others have submitted.
Interesting articles I found on Twittley
DUBAI – Virtual Tour
Amazing pictures from Dubai, the Islands of Dubai and of course the spectacular buildings in Dubai.
The Effects of a Tornado in Krasnovodsk Turkmenistan
You have to check this one out, scroll through some amazing pictures of Tornado damage but don’t miss the video posted on the bottom, these crazy bastards are laughing while they video tape a Tornado right in front of their face. Wild.
Sleeping Husband
I initially thought this would be a picture of some fat jack ass drooling on himself in a chair, instead it turned out to be a pretty funny joke about a Sleeping Husband.
If your a Twitter user, Blogger or just someone that wants to see the latest articles being submitted by other Twitter users than I suggest checking out Twittley I think regardless of what you do you’ll like it. Oh and before you head over to Twittley take a second and Tweet this Up, thanks ;)

Now that’s a handy button, but I must admit that too many of these Twitter buttons may clutter up a blog post, so not too sure if I would add it to my blog just yet, but you never know ;)
Karen’s last blog post..Blog Review of Destoyer Divine Presents
@Karen I agree too much other crap in a post can load it up, I do see some excellent usage of the tweetmeme plugin, I am testing the Twittley thing which seems to be getting some action as well. Whichever one produces more will be the one I would keep and recommend ya know.
I’m in the process of trying something else along those lines, but I’m putting that on my list of things to try soon.
