After I decided to create my Do Follow Blog List I figured why not go ahead and put together a list of U Comment I Follow Blogs, putting all bullshit aside I doubt there are bloggers that leave loads of comments simply because they love it. Everyone wants a little suntin’ suntin’, so let’s just assume that bloggers leaving comments would greatly appreciate another blogger returning the favor.
A couple of weeks ago, or maybe even last week I posted 16 Free U Comment I Follow images for bloggers to use and display that they are a U Comment I Follow Blog.
Those of you newbie bloggers that don’t know what U Comment I Follow means, it basically means if you leave a comment on my blog I will leave a comment on your blog, assuming of course that your blog is of some kind of interest to me. There are all kinds of U Comment I Follow Blogs out there, but I have yet to find a nice clean list of U Comment I Follow Blogs and hope that this will serve as that list.
If you are a blogger and you run a U Comment I Follow Blog please leave a comment with a link to your blog, and keep in mind leaving a comment here gets you two DoFollow backlinks from my blog. Now on the flip side don’t leave your site in the comments here if you have no intention of commenting back when other bloggers comment on your blog.
I am pretty excited to see what new blogs I might be introduced to from all of you leaving comments with your blog url.

@Neo, It’s going to create more spam in the blogosphere? Yeah because Do Follow and U Comment I Follow forces people to send more spam out.
It’s not that hard to beat down spam, so if thats your reason for missing out on link love traffic and networking opps than hey, thats your choice. More for us.

TechPatio.com is a *do follow* blog – also the CommentLuv plugin is do follow
I don’t comment on blogs because they are do follow, but the blogs I check first are the ones with CommentLuv as I really like that plugin. If they are do follow, that’s just an extra bonus. Blogs that are “no follow” and without CommentLuv are still checked by me when I have time and I’ll still comment if I have something to say, but I spend most of the time checking CommentLuv/do follow blogs. Just being honest about it

I am definitely an “U Comment I Follow” kinda guy… and I do my best to comment on anyone’s site that comments on mine.
One note: There are some blogs though that I have a hard time commenting on, as I don’t understand the subject (maybe it is too technical), or it might be about a niche product I don’t use… so I can’t promise I can comment on everyone’s site… but I will try my best!

I do my best to follow and comment. Sometimes it takes a few days depending on my schedule but I get there eventually. I’ve noticed a trend lately that many commenters are leaving niche sites rather than blogs so there’s no following to do as far as commenting. It may be because I’ve been blogging about niche sites so much recently.
I also use Top Commentators and Comment Luv plugins. I’m considering the key word plugin again.
Not only is the ‘U Comment I Follow Blog List’ important for helping each other out, it also helps our blogging community grow and expand.
Great idea to start a directory John.

I think my blog is already listed in your “DoFollow List” so nothing new for me. The only point that ‘dofollow’ is automatically being enabled after certian number of commentss. That said, I do comment on blogs I liked wether they are “DoFollow” or not because I am concerend about what I read. Actually I visited many “DoFollow” blogs but couldn’t find myself in commenting because they are out of my interest. Simple life

I normally comment on blogs which has posts that interest me first. But if someone comment on any of my two blogs I will check back his last post (in my comment luv plugin) and do comment and have a look at his recent articles too. If I find it interesting for me I subscribe (like i did for you lol).
Now where I comment does not really depend if the blogger comment at my place. (Like you don’t :P) – I don’t mind as long as I have something to say at your place.
Anyway after writing this long comment, I would be glad to be in your list of comment-back — However add my secondary blog killerbloggers.com instead of my main blog which I usually use to comment here. Thanks.

I dunno if other bloggers using Akismet too is having this with you comments?
Try doing this however:
log out of your blog — Open any two post on yr blog — leave a comment using the name and email u usually use on other blog when commenting — Login again… see if they are in spam folder — Approve them.
This should put you out of the Akismet list.

John, this was a very interesting post. And one which I think a lot more bloggers need to read.
We all get random comments on our blogs here and there, and I will always go and check out their blogs. I will, at least, leave a return comment. And like a few others said, it may turn into a new blog that I choose to follow.
But what I don’t like are the bloggers that just go out there, leave 100 comments on random blogs and think their work is done and that they’ll automatically have new followers. Those newbies need to learn a thing or two.

Hey John,
What a site you have here. *thumbs up* for such creativity and idea. It’s great!
I have been a browser for a little while, but not had the opportunity to comment until now.
This week I have learnt all about the “do follow” movement, and I am grateful to have finally understood what it’s about.
My blog is now a “do follow” blog, and although the “u comment, I follow” is not visible in physical imagery, I do very much appreciate this scheme. Beyond the idea, I feel that when we take time out to visit each other’s blogs, we begin to acknowledge new people’s way of thinking, and this is very important in this world.
For now, I may have a go at adding an image on my blog OR use a plugin which I found on http://blog.hichamaged.net/.
Inspiration in all forms here.
I love your “U comment, I follow” images by the way.
Keep up the amazing work, you are doing well.

Hello again John,
I just joined Darren Rowse’s Problogger network group for bloggers. He talks about “blog alliances” where a group of bloggers who admire each other’s work, join together to promote themselves, You may be already on top of this with some of your blogging buddies such as Constant Complainer, AssWass, Typhoon, MakingMoneyOnline and I would like to be included in that esteemed group as well even though I just emerged from my single-minded blogging cave. I owe it all to John for showing me the way – when i first read his blog I was like, wow, this dude runs a business and he still has the time to say all of this! It helped me get my head out of my *** and start talking to other bloggers and it’s been most gratifying that they have said some nice things about my work.

I just started a blog since it’s more natural and seems less official for tips and thinking then the web site that was my base.
their is also a big problem around that concept is the SEO backlinks. the u comment i follow is taken as link dofollow, since most make that also. and then if you get website and all kind of spammy comment they just try to get a backlinks for the search engine. i wish we soon get a third option nofollow, dofollow, spam to make us really vote for , been neutral or vote against the web site this can make spammer think twice before making spam. my blog is too young for been spam. but another site i own before I shut it down because I had not take enough care and the forum that was the main part was completely spam by bots

although it seems like you were helping a lot of webmasters to increase their backlinks by earning it through comments that they make on do follow blogs. A lot of people will still try to spam these blogs that were on the list, and it’s one of the most annoying thing a blogger always encounter.

It is good to see the ifollow trend catching on. The whole nofollow changes the way information is found on the Internet. I don’t much care for the idea that Google created the situation and now have created a workaround that doesn’t include fixing the problem of pagerank and link spam. Google is a nice search engine, I use it all the time. Still the Internet doesn’t belong to them.
