My UFC 102 Predictions
Randy Couture vs Antonio Nogueira
It’s almost impossible to think about this fight without thinking of the Hall of Fame and a couple of guys that are freaks of nature to be going at it this late in the game. This is going to be an excellent fight between two of mixed martial arts biggest legens, this could very well turn out to be chess match of the night. Betting with my heart Randy Couture is my prediction.
Keith Jardine vs Thiago Silva
I am pretty excited about this fight, this fight will be anything but boring and can easily be fight of the night or even knock out of the night. Keith Jardine has been doing the Greg Jackson training camp for a while now and he has seen excellent success against some of mixed martial arts biggest fighters, when Jardine fights Silva he is going to need to bring his “A Game” because Thiago Silva is no joke. My prediction Thiago Silva.
Chris Leben vs Jake Rosholt – my pick Chris Leben for no particular reason, maybe his crazy hair does it
Nate Marquardt vs Demian Maia – another fight I am looking forward to, my prediction Nate Marquardt
Brandon Vera vs Krzysztof Soszynski – it’s no doubt “Getting my check and getting outta here”, my pick Brandon “The Truth” Vera

John I agree with you on Thiago but,
I think that the The Dean of Mean is going to bring on a wonderful fight. More than we expect! He is a beast and I always enjoy watching his unorthodox fighting style.
Now as far as The Natural goes I have my heart set on this fight. He is my all time Favorite fighter. By the way did you see the video put up on Randy’s training
camp.WOW he is in shape boy.

I agree with you on Randy, even though as far as all time goes, I prefer Nog.. Unfortunately the man has slowed drastically!! If he turns up looking anything like he has for his past 2-4 fights, he doesn’t stand a chance..
I’m pulling for Jardine to pull this one out of his hat.. he’s the perpetually surprising fighter.. Always screwing up other LHWs runs towards the title, without ever having a shot at it himself.. lol

Randy should take this one fairly easy. Nog had a hard time with Mir and got schooled. Randy is atleast at par with Mir at the moment so The Natural is the wise choice.
Its time for Vera to get his winning ways again (remember he already beat Mir) and get serious.
I like Nate to win by Maia is a tough nut to crack.
Silva is also my choice over Keith even tho he got knocked out cold when he met The Dragon Lyoto Machida the last time.
Leben is a joke but I never heard of his opponent so he might win this one.

Some very interesting views on UFC 102, I am surprised there are as many Nog fans as there are.
In regards to Keith Jardine it just depends which Keith shows up for the fight in my opinion, same goes for Vera who can be somewhat inconsistent at best.

I think I got 4 out of 5 on this one. Tho I rather have 1 out of 5 if only Couture wins.
Still Couture is the man…he never ducks in any fight and he always goes for the exciting match even though the odds are against him.
