As I am sitting here getting ready to get this post out I am quickly realizing that as much as I might be back from my little vanishing act, I still really have nothing in the form of writing. It’s one of those weeks where everything is something I want to write about, but nothing comes out right when I go to actually write about it.
This would typically be my Sunday Smash article, something all of you have heard me complain about in the past as a piece I really don’t enjoy writing on a weekly basis, not sure why I think I just hate being forced to write a series. Either way I decided to call this week’s post the Weekly Rewind, I figure if nothing else hopefully I can at least get the bat off my shoulder and offer up something decent today.
Caption This Contest Winner
A couple of weeks ago I had a caption this contest and posted the article “Caption This Funny R-Rated Picture Contest“, I want to thank everyone that was nice enough to submit a caption for the contest, I laughed pretty hard over a bunch of the comments.
I would like to congratulate Tom from D-4 Construction for leaving the following comment, which I felt was the funniest comment someone left for that picture.

Rewind
Not really a tremendous amount to say here in the rewind this week mainly because I was pretty useless on here over the course of the last week, I will say that I enjoyed writing “The Copycat Company“, I think that was the post that made we want to write.
Taking a little snoozer last week put the hurt on Extreme John.com in regards to traffic stats, comments and a few other things. The largest area impacted by my vanishing act was my Alexa ranking which was hovering around 34,000 – 37,000 for the 7 days prior to my “break”, it’s now something like 70,000…. OUCH!
On a positive note I was pretty excited to see that my Mark Maconi Homes Customer Service & Quality FAIL post ranked within the top 3 search results returned from Google as well as Bing when searching for Mark Maconi Review, actually as I am writing this I am ranked #1 on Bing. If Mark Maconi Homes doesn’t start paying attention soon the last thread that they are hanging on to for survival will be cut, YOU SEE THAT MACONI!! Take care of your customers!
Fast Forward
Moving ahead and forgetting the past you can expect to see a local business review of excellent business’s that provide excellent customer service in the Palm Harbor area as well as all of Pinellas County, Florida. In addition to that I have a Massive Twitter Tools list I will be posting this week as well as a new Caption this contest and an introduction to one of the new family members in the EJ household.
