When it comes to Blogging CEO’s it would seem that the topics that any one blogging CEO could potentially post about might be endless. Imagine taking the time to tweet picture tours of your business and writing about everything that a busy CEO would do in a day, oh wow (hands on cheecks) the content would be never ending. The reality is that your everyday life is no different, you’re just as busy as any of the best blogging CEOs out there and your content stream would be just as endless if you blogged your life.
Another piece of reality is the fact that any blogging CEO or individual can write about whatever they think is important, exciting or in some cases relevant, but it hardly means the content is appealing to the blogging ceos blog readers. Why bother writing about things if no one cares to read what’s being written anyway?
I will always write about the things that I enjoy doing, events and just about whatever else I want because it’s a great stress reliever and I enjoy the community that we have here. Buuuuuuuut I don’t write just to read the crap over and over again on my own, because I enjoy the community here as much as I do I want to write about topics that you find interesting or topics that might help you.
Now I need your help. What would you like to see in the 1000th post on Extreme John? As I throw this post together this blog sits at 905 posts, it won’t be much longer before we celebrate the big 1000 post mark here, leave a comment and give me an idea of what you would like to see in the 1000th post.

Coffee!
Mike @DailyShotOfCoffee´s last blog ..Coffee Grounds And Filter
@Mike @DailyShotOfCoffee, why am I not surprised? Haha.
i would love to read about Web 2.0 and coming Web 3.0 on your 1000th post. as we all are talking about SEO, Make Money, Blogging, Social Networking, Microblogging, etc. etc, and this all comes under Web 2.0 and many Internet entrepreneurs are already started talking and thinking about Web 3.0 and what would be your point of view regarding web 3.0?
Thanks
Kevin S @Free Vector Graphics´s last blog ..Funny Emoticons
@Kevin S @Free Vector Graphics, I would have to do some serious homework if I planned on writing about Web 3.0, I’m Web .5
haha
After 999 posts, I think it would be about time you took us a little bit behind the scenes and show us WHO this bad boy behind Extreme John really is
I know you have some party pictures and maybe some pics of your house as well, in your gallery, but throw together a post and tell us about yourself and show us where you work (not as much the saloons but more your blogging office), stuff like that.
Klaus @ TechPatio´s last blog ..Funny Pictures: Google Street View Launched In Denmark
I second this notion. Show the person behind the blog. Maybe a video post?
Ari Herzog@Online Media Strategies´s last blog ..Does Your Blog Need Criticism and Review?
@Ari Herzog@Online Media Strategies, I had a feeling someone was going to say “video post” at some point, haha.
Still reading everyone’s recommendations.
@Klaus @ TechPatio, I def wouldn’t say that I am a bad boy by any means. A few of the good people around me have been saying that I should do a “Day in the Life Of” for the longest time, seems like such a cool idea but also seems like soooooo much work. I’m the only one around here that does video editing and I hate it, it’s so time consuming and my skills are crap. I like the idea though.
How about a post on how things may of changed since you started the blog, such as improvements, things you have learnt etc

Karen @ Blazing Minds´s last blog ..How to make your FireFox Browser look great with Personas
@Karen @ Blazing Minds, that’s another killer idea Karen, thank you.

In your 1000th post i will be pleased to read about how you’ve started blogging or what means “CEO” for you …

NiceBlogger´s last blog ..The Top 6 Mistakes to Avoid When You Start Your Blog
@NiceBlogger, I can answer the CEO question in one sentence haha. Actually I thought I would be able to, now I think it could easily be a post idea.
I just published my 858th post today myself and was thinking the same question about my 1000th post. I have seen many people do contests, giveaways and prizes for their 1000th post. Some have collected $1500 worth of sponsors or more to give away grand prizes. I was considering something good like giving away a PS3 or an Xbox360 to one of my commenters, but ultimately have not decided.
One thing I do think is it should be a celebratory post, something that marks the milestone for what it is and celebrates it.
Dragon Blogger´s last blog ..The Worlds Data Archived on Tape Cartridge?
@Dragon Blogger, without a doubt I plan on doing a few giveaways leading up to the 1000th post, I need to get in gear and get it announced or it will be crap. Can’t wait till the last minute on the contests or they don’t take off like a contest should.

@SafariDave, your really looking to make me work more than I really want to aren’t you.
Your 1000th post should be about… (drum roll please)… ME.
Okay, that wouldn’t make for the most exciting post but how about a recap of your 1st post, 100th, 200th etc all the way up to the 1000th post.
Looking forward to it John,
Karl
Karl Foxley´s last blog ..How To Get Your Business Online With A Shoestring Budget
@Karl Foxley, this is a pretty cool idea Karl…. Hmm I wonder how long it would take to figure out each post.
Wow, you already thinking of your 1000th post. I must say that your posts are really entertaining, I have a good laugh now and then and really like the events you organize, some real hotties if I say so myself
I would like to maybe see what your fav places (food wise) and what you eat, maybe have a few pics. My idea is simple, but interesting to know.

@George Serradinho, I like simple ideas George
It’s great to know I get you to laugh once in a while haha.
John I think this is a no brainer, best of post for extremeJohn. Along with a tons of shout outs and link luv to those that have helped you along the way.
Jared P Little´s last blog ..Kids and Marketing
@Jared P Little, another killer idea. Thank you.
I think the video idea is pretty cool. Maybe have a few models in the back. Ummm a game or two of beer pong? Then some playing in a bounce house?
@Anthony @ Jumpness, haha so your looking for something along the lines of The Man Show for my 1000th post.
John, I couldn’t agree with you anymore. The CEO at my current job writes about the most boring so called inspirational stuff – so I stopped reading it. No one really wants to read a blog post about how to be more productive at work.
Tell me something funny or an entertaining story, don’t write about facts and figures about the company; save those for the boardroom.
Tim winter´s last blog ..How to Lay Pipe
@Tim winter, hopefully whatever it is will be more exciting than how to be a better associate tips haha.. Thank you for taking the time to comment with your recommendations, hopefully I won’t disappoint :O
I agree with the people who wanted a introspective look at yourself. Give us a little summary of the history of this blog, and how you got to where you are on the internet from 10 years ago.
Trey – Swollen Thumb Entertainment´s last blog ..Where To Take Things This Year?
DB got to it before me, but I’m still going to suggest a H U G E contest to celebrate the feat!
Dennis Edell´s last blog ..The Time Has Come. The Deal Is Done. It’s Time To Move!!
Congratulations on the continued success of your blog. I’d offer two suggestions:
1. Why not incorporate a contest into this. Like if a reader suggests the 1,oooth post that you end up doing, they’ll get a personal phone call from you or something cool like that. Or you’ll give away some Extreme Tan & Smoothie t-shirts, calendars (don’t you have some which contain some of the ultra-hot girls you employ) or something similar. Or hell, let’s make it easy – the person who wins the contest gets to punch Lace in the nuts. Haha. OK, maybe not the latter, but you see my point. Make a contest out of it. Even if you don’t use any of the post ideas, it could be fun nonetheless.
2. Now if I were to suggest an actual post, hmmm, I’d say either your proudest moment as a CEO or your five most favorite posts of the first 1,000 you’ve done.
I look forward to reading as the 1,000 gets closer.
The Constant Complainer´s last blog ..Insurance Woes
@The Constant Complainer, thank you for a couple of great ideas. A contest is almost a given, but I need to get on it.
I’m commenting but I don’t have any idea what it should be. butI’ve read some comments here with really cool suggestions. Whatever it will be, I’m pretty sure it would be a blast.
MichaelR´s last blog ..Make Your Calls Follow You Worldwide
Wow you almost reach 1000th post John, still far for me. I would like to see you post about what you do on the day you publish your 1000th post, such as celebrating with your buddies? Having party? Having good foods in restaurant? Etc… Of course take some photos as well..
Is that as easy as you want John?
Regards,
Lee
@Lee Ka Hoong@Make Money Blogging, I have a pretty good deeling it will be something from the list that all of you are being nice enough to create for me here.
