You are totally right cody on this topic, because if you look at an average website that is ranked between 100,000 on alexa and go through their Google analytics you will notice that they do have some certain percentage of traffic from mobile, and if your site does not have a mobile css format to redirect the user, then you will get a lot of bounce rates, which affects your Google status.
So it has become a standard to know develop a mobile version of a site especially if it gets a lot of traffic. This is my own bit on this and I think it be wise for any business or company site to tap into the mobile marketing scenario, why send sms marketing if your site can not be access via the mobile (eat up too many bytes).

Based on your advice our company 3B-IT have introduced a mobile friendly website. Using media-queries we have developed our website so it will work on any screen size, allowing people to view it easily on a multitude of different devices (iPad, iPod, TV etc).
