Anyone who writes a blog (especially a personal one) wonders who reads their blog if anyone, I am also sure that plenty of us write because it’s a a good stress release. I use a software to track where the viewers of Extreme John.com come from, how long they stay and what they looked at while they were here, but it doesn’t tell me exact names or even what they think. I will usually base the who, what and where on the comments a specific blog post might get from those of you that actually read this crap.
This was a really odd week for me and the whole blog thing and probably one of the first week’s that was ever like this one for me when it comes to the Extreme John Blog. I haven’t been posting daily like I usually do and I haven’t really posted any major rants or exciting events, it’s been pretty blah from the writing stand point. Usually when I don’t update my blog for a couple of days the traffic will go down and once I update it the traffic shoots back up. This week the traffic stayed up even without consistent new posts and in regards to feedback there were a couple of comments from a few of you this week as well (thank you).
The one thing that was a little more odd this week was people seemed to mention my blog to me more than usual. On Monday when Dave from All American Dog Training Academy came by to drop off Abe and Carter he kicked off the week of people mentioning the blog to me. Dave referenced my blog post in regards to the Mega Touch and the High Score Addiction, when Dave first mentioned it to me I didn’t really get what he was talking about, than he mentioned the blog. Pretty cool I thought but I wasn’t about to start calling myself the next Carlos Diaz or throwing any Celebrity Party anytime soon.
After Dave brought it up on Monday I hadn’t thought about my blog until Wednesday when Steve from A Sound Decision was here helping Bobby get some more of the shit on my Home Entertainment System fixed and was setting up another Network Printer. Steve mentioned a blog post from late in June that I had made and asked me if it was in reference to one of my employee’s and made a few comments about the blog post. I had to think about which post Steve could have been talking about and didn’t really figure it out until that night when I actually looked, it was my “War with your Homeboys ” post. Pretty cool someone else that actually reads this, but still no Paparazzi or Red Carpet parties just yet.
Since I am sure you have better things to do I will wrap this up somewhat quick. As the week went on so did the Blog mentions, Lea Ann and another girl from Winghouse, Fergie earlier in the week, Young Goody and Topp from Blacc Wolf and the list goes on and on, now it must be time for the Red Carpet, and Paparazzi….. O.k maybe not but it’s the perfect time to say thanks to all of you that do read the blog, regardless if your one of the haters, lovers or whatever else I appreciate you taking the time to read this crap.
